Tom Sipp, Founder
Tom believes that housing is more than shelter—it's the foundation for dignity, stability, and hope. When communities invest in permanent supportive housing, they don't just save money; they transform lives and demonstrate what's possible when compassion meets action.
Tom brings over 40 years of real estate expertise as a broker, investor, and developer. As founding Building Chairman for Bainbridge/Decatur County Habitat for Humanity, he led the completion of six homes, including two "Blitz builds" finished in just two weeks. His combination of business acumen and community service consistently turns housing challenges into solutions that work both financially and compassionately.
Tom's path to founding Pathway to Home began through weekly volunteer work feeding Rome's homeless community. Week after week, he saw the same faces—good people caught in cycles—and realized that meals and shelter were just band-aids. After visiting successful tiny home communities in Brunswick and Savannah, Georgia, and witnessing the transformation in residents' lives, the vision crystallized. When his church, Westminster Presbyterian, embraced a Matthew 25 mission and had two underutilized acres perfectly situated for such a community, the calling was clear: Go to work. With God, all things are possible!
Tom's superpower is connecting real estate expertise with compassionate service, turning complex housing challenges into practical solutions that honor both financial responsibility and human dignity.
Tom is married to Linda, and after raising sons Thomas and Kendrick, they cherish every chance to visit their six grandchildren. Tom is a dedicated runner, reader, and student of diet, health, and spiritual growth. "My practice is intentional and on purpose—with kindness at its core."
